Why trade ETH on EVEDEX instead of swapping
Trade ETH's price instead of holding Base tokens: one USDT account, low fees and published leverage caps.
No swap, no pool
Go long or short ETH-USD with USDT margin instead of buying ETH in a Base pool; no token ever changes hands.
Published leverage ladder
ETH-USD allows 200x up to $50,000 notional and 100x up to $200,000, with lower caps above that.
Low trading fees
0.015% maker and 0.045% taker, with up to 35% cashback on your own trades.
One account, 52 markets
The same USDT margin trades BTC, SOL, gold, oil, EUR/USD and US stock perpetuals, 24/7.

Connect your wallet
Log in to the EVEDEX exchange with your wallet. There is no traditional KYC; deposits pass AML screening.

Deposit USDT
Fund your account from 6 USDT. The first deposit deploys a personal deposit contract on Arbitrum for about 0.1 USDT.

Open ETH-USD
Choose long or short and set leverage within the pair cap. The minimum order is 5 USDT.
Perpetual or spot swap?
A swap gives you tokens; a perpetual gives you a position on the price.
An Aerodrome swap leaves AERO, ETH or another Base token in your wallet. An ETH-USD perpetual on EVEDEX has no expiry and no token delivery: you post USDT margin, funding is calculated every 8 hours and charged hourly, and the position is liquidated if margin falls below maintenance, 0.4% of notional at the 200x tier for positions up to $50,000. If you need the token itself, use a DEX from the table. EVEDEX lists 52 perpetual pairs, has no spot market and settles on Arbitrum L2, not Base.
Risk disclosure
Leveraged perpetuals can lose your entire margin quickly, and DEX swaps carry smart-contract risk. Perpetual futures carry a high risk of loss. EVEDEX services are not intended for UK retail clients.
Aerodrome alternative questions
Aerodrome Finance is the largest decentralized exchange on Base, the Ethereum layer 2 network. Its pools are governed by veAERO holders, who direct AERO emissions. In the 30 days to September 15, 2026, it handled $13.98B, half of all DEX volume on Base, and held $322.1M in TVL, according to DefiLlama.
Aerodrome DEX is an automated market maker on Base with two pool families: classic stable and volatile pools, charging 0.05% and 0.30% by default, and Slipstream concentrated-liquidity pools with tiers from 0.01% to 1%. You swap from a self-custody wallet; no account or identity check is required.
Aerodrome DEX runs only on Base, the Ethereum layer 2 network. DefiLlama attributes all $322.1M of its TVL to Base as of September 15, 2026. To use it, you need a wallet connected to Base and a little ETH on Base for gas; tokens on other networks must be bridged first.
Aerodrome Slipstream is the exchange's concentrated-liquidity pool type, built from contracts adapted from Uniswap V3. Liquidity providers place capital in price ranges, which tightens spreads while price stays inside them. On September 15, 2026, Slipstream held $198.4M of Aerodrome's TVL and carried almost all of its volume.
The AERO token trades on Base. Fund a self-custody wallet with ETH on Base, connect it to Aerodrome or another Base DEX such as Uniswap, check the AERO contract address on official channels, then swap. Keep some ETH for gas. EVEDEX does not list AERO and offers no spot trading.
For stablecoin swaps, 0.01% tiers on Uniswap v3, PancakeSwap v3 and Aerodrome Slipstream are the cheapest pool fees. Volatile pairs usually pay 0.25% to 0.30%. On perpetual venues, EVEDEX fees are capped at 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker before cashback, the same rates as Hyperliquid's base tier. Gas and price impact come on top of any fee.
No. Coinbase is a centralized exchange: it holds customer funds, verifies identity and runs an internal order book. Coinbase does operate Base, the layer 2 network where decentralized exchanges such as Aerodrome, Uniswap and PancakeSwap handled $28.2B of volume in the 30 days to September 15, 2026.
Move crypto you already own, such as ETH or USD Coin, to a self-custody wallet on the DEX's network, connect the wallet and swap. DEXs like Aerodrome do not accept cards; wallet on-ramps do, usually with identity checks. EVEDEX differs: it trades perpetual contracts with USDT margin, not tokens.
