What Arbitrum settlement means for you

Orders are matched off-chain for speed; deposits and settlement run on Arbitrum L2.

Personal deposit contract

Deposits route through a smart contract on Arbitrum tied to your wallet. It has no private key, sends funds only to a pre-specified bridge and is open-source and audited.

No gas per order

Matching happens off-chain, so trades carry no blockchain fees. Trading fees apply only to executed orders.

Any network in, USDT out

Deposit from a supported network; an aggregator shows routes by amount received and processing time. Withdrawals are paid in USDT to the network you choose.

ARB as a perpetual

ARB-USD is a perpetual contract: up to 50x on positions up to $30,000 notional, long or short, with no ARB tokens delivered.

What EVEDEX on Arbitrum is not

EVEDEX uses Arbitrum for deposits and settlement; it is not a spot DEX or a swap aggregator.

There are no token swaps or liquidity pools on EVEDEX: all 52 pairs are perpetual contracts with USDT margin. Since July 1, 2026, EVEDEX settles directly on Arbitrum L2, while matching stays off-chain, which is why orders cost no gas. To hold ARB or provide liquidity, use an Arbitrum AMM such as Uniswap or Camelot. For leveraged long or short exposure, use the ARB-USD perpetual.

Arbitrum exchange questions

Yes, in the sense that it settles on Arbitrum. EVEDEX is a hybrid exchange for perpetual futures: orders are matched off-chain, deposits go through personal contracts on Arbitrum, and settlement runs on Arbitrum L2. It is not a spot DEX and has no token swaps.

No. EVEDEX has no spot trading, so you cannot buy or hold ARB there. You can trade ARB-USD, a perpetual contract on the ARB price, long or short, with up to 50x leverage on positions up to $30,000 notional. To own ARB tokens, use a spot exchange or an Arbitrum AMM.

EVEDEX announced on its blog on June 25, 2026 that it would migrate to Arbitrum L2 on July 1, 2026, and settlement has run on Arbitrum L2 since then. The EVEDEX documentation page on on-chain settlement now describes Arbitrum L2 as the settlement network.

No gas is charged for trading. The EVEDEX docs state that orders are matched off-chain without blockchain fees, and trading fees apply only to executed orders. The first deposit deploys a personal deposit contract on Arbitrum, which costs about 0.1 USDT once.

You pick the network, token and amount, and an aggregator shows routes by amount received and time. Funds reach your personal deposit contract on Arbitrum, pass AML checks and the 6 USDT minimum, then route through a liquidity bridge. Withdrawals are paid in USDT to the network you select.

ARB-USD allows up to 50x on positions up to $30,000 notional, according to EVEDEX trading terms on September 15, 2026. Above that size, maintenance margin rises and maximum leverage steps down. At 50x, initial margin is 2% of notional, so a 2% move against you equals your margin.

Fees are capped at 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker before cashback and apply only to executed orders. Cashback of up to 35% on your own trades is paid in USDT and lowers the effective maximum rates to 0.00975% maker and 0.02925% taker. Funding applies to open positions.

GMX V2 runs perpetuals on-chain and charges a 0.04% or 0.06% position fee, depending on whether a trade balances long and short open interest. EVEDEX matches orders off-chain, so orders pay no gas. On September 15, 2026, CoinGecko listed 15 GMX V2 Arbitrum pairs and 52 on EVEDEX.

EVEDEX does not run traditional KYC, but deposits pass automated AML screening with Chainalysis. Under its Terms of Use, the service is not available to sanctioned persons, and it is not for UK retail clients. Check local rules on leveraged derivatives first.
