Three ways to run a crypto derivatives exchange
How EVEDEX compares with centralized exchanges and an on-chain DEX. Contract terms are on the crypto derivatives page; the hybrid model is covered on perp DEX; basics are in our crypto derivatives trading guide.

How the EVEDEX exchange works
Matching runs off-chain for speed; deposits and settlement live on Arbitrum.
Hybrid order book
Orders match off-chain in the EVEDEX engine, so fills do not wait for block confirmations. Settlement runs on Arbitrum L2, where EVEDEX has operated since July 1, 2026.
Your own smart account
Deposits go to a personal smart account, a smart contract on Arbitrum that belongs to you. Move USDT to the trading balance when you are ready to open positions.
Cross margin, published rules
The whole futures balance backs every position. Leverage caps and maintenance margin are published per pair, and funding is calculated every 8 hours and charged hourly.
Audits and ADL reserve
CertiK has completed two smart contract audits, the latest delivered on July 28, 2025. A $500,000 ADL Protection Reserve has limited forced closures of profitable positions since July 18, 2026.
Start trading derivatives in three steps
From wallet to first position without traditional KYC.

Connect and deposit
Connect a wallet or sign up by email, then deposit from 6 USDT. Each deposit passes AML screening instead of traditional KYC.

Pick a market and leverage
Choose among 52 perpetual pairs, from BTC to Tesla, Tether Gold and EUR/USD. Initial margin is notional divided by leverage: 10x on 1,000 USDT reserves 100 USDT.

Place and protect the order
Use market, limit, stop-limit or TP/SL orders. Fat-finger protection and a slippage limit block fills far from the expected price.
Risk warning
Perpetual futures carry a high risk of loss: with leverage, a small price move can wipe out your margin, and under cross margin your whole futures balance is at risk. EVEDEX is not intended for UK retail clients. This page is not investment advice.
Crypto derivatives exchange questions
A crypto derivatives exchange lists contracts that follow an asset's price without delivering the asset, such as futures, perpetual futures and options. EVEDEX lists one type, the perpetual future: 52 pairs across crypto, stocks, gold, silver, oil and forex, margined in USDT and with no expiry date.
EVEDEX is a hybrid. The order book and matching engine run off-chain, which keeps execution fast, while deposits sit in personal smart accounts and settlement runs on Arbitrum L2. It is neither a fully on-chain DEX protocol nor a centralized exchange that holds funds in its own accounts.
Perpetual futures only: 39 crypto pairs, five US stocks, Tether Gold, silver, WTI oil, EUR/USD, USD/JPY, the SPY index and two pre-market contracts, 52 pairs in total. EVEDEX has no options, no dated futures and no spot trading.
Caps are set per pair: 200x on BTC-USD, ETH-USD and SOL-USD up to $50,000 notional, 100x on XRP, oil, silver and gold, 75x on 24 pairs, 50x on 18 pairs, 30x on one pair and 10x on pre-market contracts, according to EVEDEX trading terms on September 16, 2026.
Fees are capped at 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker before cashback, charged only on executed orders and with no gas fee per trade. Cashback of up to 35% on your own trades lowers the effective rates to 0.00975% maker and 0.02925% taker at the top level.
EVEDEX does not run traditional KYC. Instead, every deposit is screened on-chain for AML risk. Identity checks can still apply at external partners, such as card payment providers, and where local law requires them.
Deposits go to your personal smart account on Arbitrum. CertiK has completed two audits of EVEDEX smart contracts; the latest, delivered on July 28, 2025, had no critical findings. The audits cover the smart contracts, not every part of the exchange, so size positions with that in mind.
Yes. All 52 public pairs, including stocks, forex, gold and oil, are scheduled 24/7 on EVEDEX, so you can open and close positions on weekends. Funding keeps running while a position is open: it is calculated every 8 hours per pair and charged hourly.
The minimum deposit is 6 USDT, and the smallest order is 5 USDT. You can deposit from another exchange, from your own wallet, by swapping coins from other networks or with a bank card through an external provider. Margin is held in USDT.
